I thought I might suggest a way we all can remember our Viet Nam losses each year. I have been putting a small flag in my front yard on the day each member was killed with a small sign with his rank and name on it. Example: today (September 19) I put out 2 flags, on the sign PFC L. Ropeter and SP4 R Sparks).
On Memorial Day, I put out 26 flags in formation. One for Lt Moe out front, 2 flags on the next row for SSG Clayborn and SSG Tyler. Then 4 rows of 5 flags and the back row 3 flags.
I do the same formation on Veterans Day. I have been doing this for a number of years.
